Start/Finish Lines: The Start-Line is located close to the intersection of East Mall and Stadium Rd. HERE The Finish-Line is in front of the grandstand at Thunderbird Stadium.

Location: Thunderbird Stadium, Stadium Road, UBC Campus, Vancouver, BC  
Start Time:

• Kid's Mile at 6:30pm

• 5K at 6:45pm

• 10K at 7:00pm 

Getting to the Race:

Buses R4, 49, 33 and 25 all pass within 400m of the Star/finish line. The 9, 4, 14, 84, 44 and 99B terminate at the Main bus loop on Campus, 2k from the start/finish area. Link to bus maps https://planning.ubc.ca/transportation/transit 

Parking:
NO Parking is available at the stadium as this area is being used for the post-run party. Parking is available on the east-side of East Mall and in the Parking structure on Thunderbird Blvd at Wesbrook.

Bike Racks are available at the stadium.

Event Details

Bag & Bike Check:
A complimentary bag and bike check will be provided next to the stadium grandstand 60m from the finish line and across from the announcers tent.

Washrooms: 

Will be available in the stadium grandstand and also at the far end (south end) of the parking lot.

Course description:
Scenic 5k loop on the UBC Campus. Both 5k and 10k races start at the intersection of Stadium Way and East Mall, and finish on the Concourse in front of Thunderbird Stadium. 5k runners complete one lap, 

10K runners complete 2 laps and Kid's Mile consists of the first part of the adult loop before turning back along Main Mall to the stadium. See Course and Parking Map link for route map and parking details.
The 5k is part of the Lower Mainland Racing Series

Water Stations
Will be available at the 1k, 3k, 6k and 8k marks

Timing
Chip Timing will be provided by Startline Timing. Your number is your meal ticket and contains your timing chip: "No number, no chip, no time, no meal!"

Grand Prize Two Night’s stay at Huntingdon Manor, Victoria BC, with travel provided by BC Ferries.

Performance Awards comprise a mixture of Brooks merchandise and Forerunners Gift Cards.

Post-Race Party

The post-race party on the Stadium Concourse will include music, hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, fruits, veggies, yogurt, ice cream, fruit, pies, juice & other goodies. Refreshments may also be purchased from an onsite pub. Please bring your ID.

Bring a blanket as there is a large grassy area on which to sit.
