Gunner Shaw Memorial Cross Country Race
11am - December 7, 2024 at Jericho Beach Park
The Vancouver Thunderbirds are thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Lions Gate Road Runners as co-hosts of the 2024 Gunner Shaw Memorial Cross Country Race.
Named in Memory of “Gunner” Shaw, a well-known and respected BC runner who passed away in 1984 at the age of 39 due to a car accident, the annual cross country race has been a staple on the provincial cross country calendar for years. We look forward to keeping the proud tradition of this traditional-style cross country meet alive for many years to come.
